PRIVATE RESIDENCE, GRAMERCY PARK
Opus proudly restored the interior lobby’s marble staircase tread of this historic prewar condominium. The top concrete tread was previously painted white to blend into the marble treads below and ended up deteriorating from years of foot traffic. Creating a feasible fix, Opus performed their painting magic.

BEFORE

Previously painted concrete slab in poor condition.

IN PROGRESS

Opus removed all paint and sealer, as well as fully cleaned the concrete slab.

AFTER

Using old world mineral based stains and a faux finish technique, Opus painted the concrete slab to match to the existing marble and finished it with a breathable sealer.
