SAINT BARTHOLOMEW'S CHURCH, MIDTOWN
Built in 1918, this sacred oasis is a designated New York City Landmark. Opus conducted an interior investigation of the Baptismal Chamber’s damaged dome, north of the alter. Extensive water leakage from the roof caused plaster delamination, loss of pigment and imagery. With a tight budget and deadline, Opus diligently restored this magnificent work of art back to life.
